Where necessary and considering statutory requirements, additional use or provision of personal information may be undertaken without the data subject's consent.

Processing Entrustment

We commission certain tasks externally to ensure the smooth processing of personal information.
Upon entering into a commissioning contract, pursuant to Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, we specify in the contract and related documents the prohibition on processing personal information for purposes other than performing the commissioned work, measures to ensure security, restrictions on subcommissioning, management and supervision of the consignee, liability for damages, and other responsibilities, and we supervise the consignee's safe processing of personal information.

Destruction

As a matter of principle, personal information is promptly destroyed without delay when the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been served.

However, if personal information, for which consent has been obtained from the data subject, has exceeded the retention period or the processing purpose has been fulfilled, and yet the personal information must be continuously preserved in accordance with other relevant laws, the relevant personal information (or personal information files) will be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different location.

For children under the age of 14, the rights must be exercised by their legal representatives.

- b.Storage and Tamper-Resistance of Access Logs: Records of access to the personal information processing system (such as web logs, summary information, etc.) are stored and managed for a minimum of one year, and security features are employed to prevent tampering, theft, or loss of access records.
- c.Encryption of Personal Information: Users' personal information is stored and managed in an encrypted format. Furthermore, critical data are encrypted during storage and transmission, leveraging separate security features.
- d.Technical Measures Against Hacking and Other Threats: [Incheon International Airport Corporation] has installed security programs that are regularly updated and inspected to prevent the leakage and damage of personal information caused by hacking or computer viruses. For the pilot operation of the International Remote Baggage Screening (IRBS) service, we transfer (provide to a third party) checked baggage image information overseas.
