- The airport area is developed in accordance with the Airport Facility Act by establishing a basic airport development plan and a detailed facility development plan that determines the purpose of each plot of land.
- Approximately 27% of the total area of the airport economic zone is available for development, on account of the spillover effects on the national economy and the airport.
- The land is owned by the corporation, with the facilities developed and operated by private investors. Operators are selected through announced bids or project proposals.
